Nike - Air Yeezy

After months and months of speculation, the Nike Air Yeezy will finally be released. The high top sneaker that pays homage to various historic Air Jordan and Nike sneakers from Nike’s history was designed by Kanye West along with Nike designer, Mark Smith, together they created a shoe that not only looks great but also was able to keep the Louis Vuitton Don comfortable while touring across the world on his Glow in the Dark Tour. The first color of the Air Yeezy is the Zen Grey and Light Charcoal colorway that has been spotted on West’s feet on a number of occasions as well as DJ AM’s in the latest Nike iD Kobe Bryant commercial. The Air Yeezy features a glow in the dark outsole, midfoot strap, as well as a new “Y” shaped lacelock. Additionally the shoe features a new all over print that was inspired by the Air Jordan Elephant Print.

The first colorway that will be released is this Zen Grey and Light Charcoal colorway, pictured above. Two additional colorways are scheduled to be released in the upcoming months in addition to the Zen Grey and Light Charcoal colorway, including a Black/Black colorway and a Net/Net colorway. via NikeTalk.
